Municipal Council
Municipal council is a representative body of the citizens of the Municipality of Kneževi Vinogradi which makes enactments and other decisions within the frame of its rights and duties and does other activities in accordance with the Constitution, law and Statute of the Municipality.
Mayor
The Mayor represents the Municipality of Kneževi Vinogradi and is the executive of the municipality. The Mayor works as a professional. The deputy mayor works on voluntary base.
The Mayor of the Municipality of Kneževi Vinogradi is Deneš Šoja, M. Sc.
Deputy mayor is Petar Šmrčković
Local committees
Local committees are founded in the villages of the Municipality as the bodies of the municipal inhabitants. Through the Local committees the municipal residents take part in decision making of the issues having a direct influence on their life and work.
The work of the Local committees is monitored by the Municipal government which can dissolve the boards of the Local committees if they often violate the Statute and regulations of the Local committee or do not work on the issues entrusted with.
Ethnic Minority Councils
Ethnic minority councils in the Municipality of Kneževi Vinogradi elected in 2007 are: the Hungarian Ethnic Minority Council, Serb Ethnic Minority Council and a representative of German ethnic minority. . There are 10 members in each council.
