The Reformed Parish of Kamenac is a community following the Gospel and Holy Spirit invited by Jesus Christ. The Parish is a part of the Reformed Christian Calvinist Church in the Republic of Croatia which stands on the essence of the entire Holy Bible while regarding the science and life itself is dedicated to Apostolic, Nicaean, Constantinopolitan, Ephesians, Chalcedonian, and Athanasian Creed and particularly, Heidelberg catechism and II Helvetian religious belief. Services are held at 14.00 on Sundays and holidays.
In 1859 the Parish in Kamenac, together with all documentation was completely destroyed in fire, therefore, it is not known when the first church was built, but it was supposed to be much earlier. According to tradition, some villagers mention a thatched church.
This reformed community was established later than in other nearby villages, around the end of the 17th century. It is believed that the church was built at the same time.
During the World War II the church was damaged. Basic rebuilding was done in 1946, but the church tower was built only in 1960. The church of this small community was almost destroyed by earthquake in 1963, but in 1966 it was open for the congregation once again.
Last reconstructions on the roof and the interior of the church were redone in 2001 and in 2004 the church was completely plastered, painted and new windows on the church tower were built.
Today the community has 44 members.
